Cookie Policy
1. Who We Are
Muscleenergyglow.world, UNIT 4, 162-165 High Street Deritend, Birmingham B12 0LD, United Kingdom.
Company Registration No. 14162165 (England & Wales). VAT Registration No. GB 212 854 421.
Contact: feedback@muscleenergyglow.world, +44 121 285 4421.
2. Legal Basis
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), storing or accessing information on your device (other than strictly necessary cookies) requires your consent. Strictly necessary cookies are permitted without consent because they are essential to provide a service you request. Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) are blocked until you choose to accept them. This approach also aligns with UK GDPR requirements where cookies involve personal data.
3. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet, or phone when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage (for example, to remember your cookie consent choice under the key tdde_cookie_consent) and, if enabled with your consent, pixels or tags that track how you interact with our pages.
4. Cookie Categories We Use
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Enable core site functions, security, and store your cookie preferences | Consent storage (local storage), session management | Session or up to 12 months | Not required — always on |
| Analytics | Understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, traffic sources) in aggregated form | Web analytics tools (only if you accept analytics) | Up to 14 months | Required — off by default |
| Marketing | Measure campaigns, limit repeat ads, personalise content | Advertising and remarketing tags (only if you accept marketing) | Up to 12 months | Required — off by default |
5. Consent Management
When you first visit our site, a banner offers three equal options:
- Accept all — enables analytics and marketing cookies;
- Reject — only strictly necessary cookies remain active;
- Cookie settings — lets you toggle analytics and marketing separately. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off.
We do not use pre-ticked boxes for non-essential cookies. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: reopen cookie settings, choose Reject, or clear site data in your browser. We record your consent choice and the date for audit purposes (typically up to 12 months), as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Third parties may set cookies when you accept optional categories. Those parties act as separate controllers or processors for their processing. We assess partners for UK GDPR compliance and use data processing agreements where they process data on our behalf. Third-party policies govern their cookies; we recommend reviewing them before consenting.
Advertising cookies (if enabled): with your marketing consent, measurement partners such as Google Ads may use cookies or similar technologies to record conversions from advertisements and, where configured, support aggregated remarketing. We do not enable these technologies by default. See Google’s privacy information at policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Browser and Device Controls
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and others). Blocking all cookies may prevent some features from working. For mobile devices, refer to your operating system privacy settings. Useful guidance is available from the ICO and your browser provider.
8. “Do Not Track” Signals
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. There is no uniform UK legal standard requiring a specific response; we nevertheless honour your cookie choices made through our consent tool.
9. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change technologies or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
10. Your Rights and Complaints
Personal data collected via cookies is explained in our Privacy Policy, including rights of access, erasure, and objection. You may complain to the ICO: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, tel. 0303 123 1113.
